Tourney

Am I allowed to host tourney's?

If so, I was hoping we could do some in-clan 8-man Tournament, seeing as we don't have a LOT of people active and not all the players are low-money.

BGH is dope in my opinion
although incredibly imbalanced and no where near as beastly as the actual Hunters (make that an option) it's actually pretty fun as you can have the equivalent of a 2 or 3 base economy with just your main which leads to both macro and intense micro in the early game.
Although we definitely don't have enough members for a Hunters tourney as Hunters is best 3v3

Since no high ranking member is replying to my question, I'll host a tourney next Saturday. Hopefully, I can get some people spamming about the tourney. I'll host a Low-Money 8-Man Tourney starting at 7:00 Central/8:00 Eastern. I'll put the tournament joining thingy on the site, under the tab Tournament (Duh?!). Hope enough people join and ACTUALLY come to the tourney.

sounds good but if since it's low money when will map pool be released/who will decide it?
and how is it orginized?

EDIT2: will lan latency be used (Chaos Launcher)/will it be played on iCCup?

Man, picky. I already put out the map order it'll be used. I picked the maps in order because not all our members probably know about the new maps that you decent players would know, like God's Garden and Heartbreak Ridge.

About ChaosLauncher, Vista users can't use ChaosLauncher, and for members without Chaos, they probably will have a difficult time getting it loaded. So if both players has Chaos and are able to use it, then go for it. Otherwise, it is not necessary.

(You may go to iCCup to play the game, seeing as iCCup has LAN Latency, and Vista users can get on iCCup without problems.)

xD well i dont have any loaders for Icc or chaos, and im too lazy to get them so if it becomes mandated I probably wont play, also my AV is shot atm so I dont want to dl files.

You don't HAVE to get Chaos. Just something extra you could use to strengthen the game quality.

I have Vista and can run Latency Changer without problems.

Hmm, well, I use Vista but Chaos doesn't work. Even tried it with the whole 'Run as Administrator' thing, and still no work, so I just use the ChaosLauncher in the new ADVLoader. But it kicks me out of SC everytime I play a game.

Yeah, I'm not playing, unless I have to when someone doesn't show. And some people won't have time for a Best Out of 5, so unless they have time for a 5 game series, it'll be Bo3.

Also, if you joined the tourney, but do not show, don't plan on being in the next tourney I decide to host.

What he means is if you dont show and dont have a valid reason for not turning up you wont be participating in the next tourny. We do understand that sometimes things unexpectedly come up, so if this is the case be honest, Locked has devoted alot of time to this so atleast pay him that respect
